Applied Behavior Analysis Undergraduate Certificate

The Applied Behavior Analysis Undergraduate Certificate from Temple’s College of Education and Human Development prepares students to further their education in the field and pursue careers that focus on applying behavior analysis in community settings. 

Through the certificate program, students learn how to analyze environment-behavior interactions in order to develop ecologically sound, individualized interventions. Students will learn to apply the science of behavior analysis to various populations in diverse settings. 

The program is designed to allow students to meet the coursework requirements for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst credential. It also prepares those students who wish to further their studies to apply for the Master of Science in Education degree in Applied Behavior Analysis

The certificate program requires 15 credits for completion, and can be completed in less than one year as a full-time student, and two years as a part-time student. The maximum amount of time allowed to complete the program is four years. All courses are taught on Temple’s Main Campus.

Tuition rates are set annually by the university and are affected by multiple factors, including program degree level (undergraduate or graduate), course load (full- or part-time), in-state or out-of-state residency, and more. You can view the full Cost of Attendance breakdown on the Student Financial Services website.

These tuition costs apply to the 2024–2025 academic year.

Pennsylvania resident: $18,864.00 per year
Out-of-state: $33,912.00 per year
